Uninstall Ilopad the way that Windows removes each app: from Settings. The silent uninstall for advanced users is shown after it. If you want, you can then also remove your settings.
Method 1: Uninstall in Settings (recommended)
Point and click. The Ilopad uninstaller removes the program, the pen-tablet driver, the gamepad driver if Ilopad installed it, and the firewall rules. Windows asks for permission one time, to remove the drivers and the firewall rules.
Quit Ilopad
Open the Ilopad window from its icon in the system tray. If you do not see the icon, click the arrow at the right-hand end of the taskbar first. Click the menu button at the top right of the window, then click Quit. If you forget, the uninstaller asks you to close Ilopad and then click OK.
Open the list of installed apps
Open Start › Settings › Apps. On Windows 10, Apps & features opens with the list. On Windows 11, click Installed apps. Find Ilopad in the list. Its name includes its version, for example Ilopad version 1.0.4.
Click Uninstall
On Windows 10, click Ilopad, then Uninstall. On Windows 11, click … beside Ilopad, then Uninstall. Windows says that the app and its related info will be uninstalled: click Uninstall again.
Confirm
The Ilopad uninstaller asks if you are sure that you want to completely remove Ilopad and all of its components. Click Yes.
Approve the permission prompt
User Account Control asks one time. As during the install, it names Ilopad and shows the verified publisher Tiny Bits Ltd. Click Yes: Ilopad needs it to remove the drivers and the firewall rules.
Finish
The uninstaller says that Ilopad was successfully removed from your computer. Click OK.
Method 2: Silent uninstall (advanced)
Removing Ilopad from several machines, or prefer the command line? The uninstaller accepts Inno Setup’s silent switches. It still needs administrator rights for the drivers and the firewall rules, so an ordinary PowerShell gets one permission prompt. Run the command from an elevated PowerShell to uninstall with no prompt.
Run the uninstaller silently
The first line quits Ilopad. The second runs the uninstaller from the folder that Ilopad installed into:
Stop-Process -Name ilopad-server -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue & "$env:LOCALAPPDATA\Programs\Ilopad\unins000.exe" /VERYSILENT /SUPPRESSMSGBOXES /NORESTART
C:\Program Files\Ilopad\unins000.exe. The command returns at once: the uninstaller continues for a few seconds after it.Remove your settings
Optional. The uninstaller keeps your settings, your paired devices and the server key, so that a new install can use them. Delete them if you do not install Ilopad again.
Delete the settings folder
Open File Explorer, click the address bar, type %APPDATA% and press Enter. Delete the ilopad folder. Or, in PowerShell:
Remove-Item -Recurse -Force "$env:APPDATA\ilopad"
